STRAND 1: Elevating Our Voices for Educational Equity and Social Justice

How can we support the type of schooling (and society) that values, rather than marginalizes?

This strand highlights theoretical and practical models that are responsive to the challenges of preparing educational leaders committed to social justice and equity.

STRAND 2: Teacher Leader Voice

How can we advance student outcomes by expanding opportunities for teacher leadership?

This strand highlights systems and strategies that support teacher leaders.


JULY 17: STRAND 3 & MEMBERSHIP MEETING

STRAND 3: Lifting Our Voices in Policy and Advocacy

How can we gain insight into the legislative process and contribute our important voice and perspective to policy decisions that impact our students?

This strand focuses on actively engaging in policy analysis and advocating for educational opportunities in local communities.


JULY 18: STRAND 4 & UNCONFERENCE

STRAND 4: Raising our Voices for Students and the Profession

How can we actualize our deep belief that when our teachers are organized and in positions of leadership (within and outside the classroom), they will serve as a transformative force for and with students, communities and the broader movement to professionalize teaching?

This strand focuses on raising our voices for our student’s unique needs and for the teaching profession.


JULY 19: DAY ON THE HILL
