Dr. Monica A. Beane, NBCT

Dr. Monica A. Beane is Head of Educational Partnerships at ETS, where she leads national partnerships and business development efforts that advance educator quality, licensure, and workforce development. A former teacher, principal, and state education executive, she has served in senior leadership roles across K-12 and higher education, including as Executive Director of Oregon's Teacher Standards and Practices Commission and the West Virginia Department of Education.

Throughout her career, Dr. Beane has built strategic partnerships among state agencies, legislatures, higher education institutions, school districts, and nonprofit organizations to strengthen educator pipelines and improve outcomes for learners. Her work has helped secure funding, shape education policy, and support innovative approaches to educator preparation, licensure, and professional learning.

Dr. Beane brings expertise in education policy, public-private partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and organizational strategy. She is committed to elevating educator voices and advancing policies and partnerships that strengthen the teaching profession and expand opportunities for all students.
