No Kid Hungry Fellowship

Advocating for all students to get breakfast after the bell.
About the Fellowship:
NNSTOY and No Kid Hungry are engaging a 7-month fellowship to make sure all students are prepared to learn by gaining access a healthy breakfast at school.
What do Fellows do?
The Fellows (all educators, including State Teachers of the Year and Finalists for State Teacher of the Year):
- work with their schools to design and implement a program to feed students after the bell rings
- conduct research about the effectiveness of their efforts
- present their findings at the National Teacher Leadership Conference (July 8-11 in Las Vegas, Nevada)
- develop a toolkit for advocacy (in the fall)
