Rachelle ProvostRachelle Provost is an award-winning choreographer, professional educator, and dance teacher at Old Mill Middle School South, in Anne Arundel County Maryland. Rachelle graduated cum laud from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA and Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA, where she received her B.F.A. in Dance, and M.A.T. in Elementary Education, respectively. She has completed coursework toward both Reading and ESL certificates, and recently started working towards her Admin Certification at Trinity Washington University. Additionally, Rachelle wrote the middle school DANCE FOR ATHLETES curriculum for Anne Arundel County Public Schools.

Rachelle’s love for teaching grew out her early work with organizations such as Freedom School, 21st Century Learning Centers, and, Americorps. This passion for working with youth, particularly those who are underserved, motivated Rachelle to pursue her career in education. And her love for dance lead to a natural marriage of the two. Rachelle has almost a decade of experience teaching in the public school system.
