SLC Sightseeing List for Families

Dear NNSTOY Family,
We are getting excited to show you beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah! We thought we would send you a brief list of sites and activities to entice you as you make your reservations.
ATTRACTIONS:
Bicycling and hiking Trails: Located just minutes from downtown, several areas offer miles of great biking and hiking trails, including the Bonneville Shoreline Trail, Emigration Canyon, and Mill Creek Canyon.
Cathedral of The Madeline: a Roman Catholic Church in Salt Lake City, Utah. Beautiful Neo-Romanesque architectural style, built in 1900. The Cathedral of the Madeleine is a stunning architectural treasure and should be on your list of “must sees”. Only one mile, a short walk, from our hotel.
City Creek Center: Beautiful, new addition to down town Salt Lake City. This is an outdoor shopping center that is an easy walk from the hotel. This Center is filled with any and all of your shopping needs. Aesthetically pleasing with beautiful fountains and sidewalk cafes. Many summer evenings live music is an added attraction.
Gallivan Center: Live music, outdoor seating, all ages, an expanded grassy amphitheater, a huge ice rink and a unique array of art. The Gallivan Center is an easy walk from the hotel.
Historic Trolley Square: Shop, dine and play at Trolley Square. This is a beautiful, historic area of downtown Salt Lake. A little longer walk, but definitely worth pursuing.
Temple Square: Experience the peace and tranquility of beautiful Temple Square with a complimentary tour of Utah’s most visited site. This top tourist attraction is an easy walk from the hotel. A “must see”.
Utah State Capitol: The Utah State Capitol is the house of government for the U.S. state of Utah. Guided tours are on going.
GOT KIDS WITH YOU?
Send the family to The Children’s Museum of Utah, Hogle Zoo, The Living Planet Aquarium, or the Clark Planetarium.

For your visiting family members, tours are available for places like: the Great Salt Lake, Kennecott Bingham Copper Mine, Park City Olympic Venues, and everything Salt Lake City.
